Richmond Punch is a violin virtuoso who delivers a riveting, dynamic, explosive, and powerful performance! He is a graduate of Juilliard and earned a Master’s Degree from Yale University. Mr. Punch founded Dancing Violin Strings with his wife Wednesday Jackson Punch. Their business specializes in live violin music for all events including special events, corporate events, concerts, weddings and worship. Mr. Punch plays everything from classical music to jazz, hip hop and gospel. He has been featured in numerous magazines, on various radio and television stations across our great nation and is now focused on international pursuits.
Mr. Punch has delighted and dazzled audiences from Atlanta to Anchorage and everywhere in between. He enjoyed a fabulous tour in Paris, France and plans to visit many countries to share his passionate music. Mr. Punch has entertained celebrity audiences such as Danny Glover, Steven Forbes, Morris Chestnut, Jewel, Michael Baisden, Susan Taylor, Bishop T. D. Jakes, Ross Perot, Ocho Cinco, Kirk Franklin, Kirk Whalum, Nolan Ryan, and Emmit Smith just to name a few. Mr. Punch especially enjoys traveling the country entertaining The Divine Nine Greeks, various houses of worship, and national leaders.
Giving back to the community is a major priority for Mr. Punch. He has served as Artistic Director of the Dallas Uptown Youth Orchestra, a program which reached more than 3,500 children and adults annually. He has been a dedicated volunteer with many non profits as, The Boy Scouts, The Urban League, and The Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation’s mentoring program and with various school districts across the United States. However, his greatest passion is for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America. Mr. Punch and his wife very often travel to entertain and speak at various events for the dynamic organization which supports youth across America.
