Southland Swing Band

The Southland Swing Band is a local Dallas band that covers a mix of gypsy jazz, western swing, standards and dixieland music from the 1930′s Prohibition Era. We also have a few originals tunes that we feature, including “With A Look,” by Mark Landson, “If It Ain’t Love,” by John Evans, and “Texas Toast,” by our own Dave Burris! We have recently expanded our horn section to include trombone, trumpet, and saxophone, adding a dash of that authentic N’awlins sound. We’re a lively group, so don’t forget your dancing shoes. ;)
